SIGGY ~ A POLICE OFFICER
A FRIEND, A BUDDY

RICK and SIGGY

A TRUE FALLEN HERO

Rick is a former K-9 Police Officer of the town of Fruitland, MD (south of Salisbury) and Siggy was his partner. Siggy saved Rick's life on more than one occasion. Siggy was instrumental in several felony arrests and responsible for many drug finds. Siggy was also a bit of 'ham' who loved people in general and kids in particular. Siggy was not only a stalwart Police Service Dog, he was also a promoter of good will for the Fruitland PD. He was an outstanding example of a well-trained professional K-9 Cop. Rick did not just lose a friend ~ he lost his buddy.

We have worked with Rick and Siggy (and his other dogs) on several occasions. As a matter of fact, under Rick's guidance, Siggy was the first dog I ever took a "hit" from. Schutzhund and other dog training enthusiasts will understand what that means.

SIGGY HAS CROSSED THE RAINBOW BRIDGE

REST IN PEACE, BUDDY
YOU'VE EARNED IT

AMAZING GRACE is the semi-official song of mourning for a fallen Police Officer. It plays in the background in Siggy's honor.

Loving Memory Award
Thank you, Sandi
