Dear Friends, 10-12 WHY GOD’S LOVE IS SUFFICIENT!PART 5.

God’s love surpasses all else and it is there for us all the time. God is faithful even when we are not.

2Ti 2:13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

Our belief or faith, lasts for a while but when things get hard, we often give up believing. We tend to forget that God does not change and he cannot lie.

Mal 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

Tit 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

Nu 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

God’s goodness is what leads man to repentance.

Ro 2:4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

How good is this goodness? Let’s look at a few verses.

Joh 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Jesus died for us willingly. He loves us so much that He was willing to die for the sins of the whole world, even knowing that most would not accept His sacrifice.

Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

God’s love is everlasting. It always was and always will be.

Jer 31:3 The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.

God doesn’t force us but shows his mercy to us. It’s that loving quality that draws us to Him. God is just also, and says He will avenge us.

De 32:35 To me belongeth vengeance, and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.

God doesn’t want us to fret over the wrong doing of others because He will take care of things in the end. He will also wipe away our tears.

Isa 25:8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.

Re 7:17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

Re 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

God will take care of us. He has a plan, or thoughts about our life. It’s for our good, not for evil.

Jer 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

And it also says this:

Isa 64:4 For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.

1Co 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

Ps 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

God’s love is the greatest thing that we could ever hope for. He is faithful, He loves us and promises to take care of us. What more could we want?
