Dear Friends, 10-21 PEACE IN TURMOIL, YES IT’S POSSIBLE!
These are scary times to be alive to those who are not Christian. But we who are Christian, are no example if we give into the same feelings of fear and anger that the world does. We have a God who comforts us. We have a Bible that gives us hope when all looks hopeless. We also have a responsibility, to let our lives shine with the hope that we have so that we will draw others to Christ. More than ever we have this opportunity right now in view of the troubles in our nation.
1Pe 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a
reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: 16 ¶ Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.17 For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.You see, we know what’s in the book. We know the ending. We know that these events are leading to the fulfillment of endtime Scripture. We know that the antichrist awaits his time to come in and make peace. We know that the mark is coming, along with the one world government and the one world religion. We also know that Jesus is coming for the church in the rapture. (The spotless church, which means the wholehearted). We know that there will be a 7 year period called the Tribulation, we know that all the Jewish people will then be saved. We know that there will be a one thousand-year reign with Jesus ruling, and Satan is bound. We know there will be the final Armageddon war, and that Satan and his cronies will be cast into the lake of fire. We know that God will wipe away all our tears and we will then be with Him forever.
Hopefully we want to share this peace with our loved ones and with the lost. To do this we must live in God’s comfort and peace. God is not surprised by this act of terrorism. It could not have happened if He had not allowed it. God allows our enemies to attack us when we do not repent. Now is the time for this verse to come into play.
2Ch 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.This is the only way we can avoid the overdue judgment from coming to our country. Will we do it? I pray so, but it sure doesn’t look like it. As we turn to patriotism such as not seen for a long time, another element, authored by Satan is at work with the dumb peace protesters. Send your kids to college to learn to turn from everything you have taught them. This allows them to be exposed to liberal ideas that are straight from the pit of hell. If we do not repent as a whole of the homosexual agenda, the killing of innocent babies, adultery, fornication, and promoting evolution, which denies the very God who made all things, we are in big trouble. I did not mention everything but only what came to mind. We are a nation that has been trying to erase God from our lives, and we wonder why He allowed such a tragedy. God Himself wept over that destruction. He wept over those who nobody ever witnessed to that went to hell. He is keeping His promise to bring good out of it with the resurgence in prayer and being able to mention His name. But I fear it is only for a time. We must pray and fast and witness as time allows. We must live in the peace. We must trust God to protect us and to keep His promises. The Bible says this:
Isa 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in
perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.We need to have faith:
Heb 11:6 But
without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.We need to realize that fear comes not from God.
2Ti 1:7 For God hath not given us the
spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.Do you know that fear drives you crazy? It literally causes mental illness. Fear is lack of faith in God. It comes from the enemy and his buddies. Spirits. Demons. These are times of fear for those who don’t know God’s word.
Lu 21:26
Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.But the Bible says this:
Heb 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith
without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)1Th 5:4 But
ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.1Th 5:8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the
hope of salvation.We have hope. We have a future. God says this:
Jer 29:11 For I know the
thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.God’s thoughts are His plans for us. He also says this:
Isa 64:4 For since the beginning of the world men have
not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.1Co 2:9 But as it is written,
Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.Let your light shine before men.
Ro 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is
shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.Our peace in times of trouble points to God. I will close with this warning and hope from Jesus.
Joh 16:33 These things I
have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
