ENOS HARRIS

ENOS HARRIS was born November 18, 1869 in Springfield Twp, Williams, Ohio, and died June 22, 1967 in Stryker,Williams,Ohio.
As well as being a farmer Enos also worked at the Stryker Famers Exchange Elevator for many years.

A lady who works at the meat market in Stryker Ohio related the following to me; Her father had an old fashioned 50's type malt shop in Stryker.She as a small child remembered Enos as being a pleasant,small guy, she said he had a good sense of humor and came into thier business exactly at 3:00pm everyday to buy his newspaper.
He passed away at the Northcrest Nursing Home ,Henry County, Napoleon,Ohio. Funeral services were held on June 25 1967 at the Grisier Funeral Home. Rev Raymond Biertcher officiated.Interment was in the Lockport Cemetery Stryker Ohio.
He was a member of Stryker Methodist Church.1920 census shows him as being a retired farmer and a Democrate.
He married ELIZABETH BRAETHAUER July 26, 1893 in Fulton County , Ohio.
She died at the Northcrest Nursing Home in Napoleon where she had resided for three years.Funeral Services were held at Grisier Funeral Home on Tueday May 4 1971 Rev John O'Dell officiating,interment was in the Lockport Cemetery.
She was 98 years old at the time of her death.She was a member of United Methodist Church.

i. EMERSON HARRIS, b. March 10, 1894, Fulton County Ohio; d. January 19, 1968, Stryker, Springfield twp, Williams, Ohio.

ii. WELBY HARRIS, b. December 11, 1897; d. January 1984.
