RICHARD HARRIS
7. Richard HARRIS was born on Jun 15 1831 in Marston,Bedfordshire,
England.He was christened on Aug 28 1831
in the Church of England.
He immigrated in Jun 1850 to Springfield twp,Williams County,Ohio
with his parents.
He was a farmer in Williams County  in Stryker Ohio.
He owned a farm located 1 mile north of Stryker.
He sold the farm after his the death of his wife and made his home
with his daughter. He was a very industrious careful
and successful man,a devoted husband and father. He was
of the Amish faith.
He suffered with uramic poisoning & cardiac infraction in
Apr 1913 ,Williams County,Ohio. He passed away at the home
of his daughter Phebe Ella(Harris)Augustine at the age of 81
years 9 mos and 17 days old. He was buried at Lockport Cemetery
Stryker Ohio by the firm of EP Hollingshead on Apr 11 1913.
The services was held at the Lockport Amish Church by Rev.Wm Clark. 

He was married to Margery Ann DAILY on Feb 2,1853 in Williams
Co. Ohio.  Margery Ann DAILY was born on Mar 1 1837 in Tiffin,
Seneca County, Ohio. She died on Nov 21 1908 in Brady twp,
Williams, Ohio. Census records of 1880 reflect birth was
in Pennsylvania. At the age of 5 she moved with her parents
to Fulton County.
After her marriage to Richard she moved to the farm where 
she lived until the time of her death.
She was a loving and affectionate mother and always a kind 
and willing neighbor. She with her husband knew what it was
to see their home change from the forest to one of the finest
farms in the area.
It was by thier faithful toil and good management they acquired
so fine a home and property.  She died at her home Nov 21 1908
at the age of 71 years 8 months and 20 days.  Richard HARRIS
and Margery Ann DAILY had the following children:

Brady twp, Williams, Ohio.  She died in 1862 in Brady twp,
Williams, Ohio.
