Isaac B. Smith 35 GA
Mary J. Smith 36	SC
Lucy A. Ruffin	55	NC
Martha J. Nixon 11 (1849) AL

NOTE: Martha was the twin sister of my gr-gr-gr-grandfather
Chester Judson Nixon. Their parents were John L. and
Elizabeth Nixon, both of whom tragically died young.
John L. was a doctor and Baptist minister in Pike
County. Elizabeth died in (I think) 1856 or so, and
John L. was struck by lightning in 1859, leaving four
orphans. Martha actually was hit by the lightning
also, but was resuscitated. Chester went to live
with a man named Samuel Adams, and it looks like
Martha went to live with the Smiths (??). Hope this
info helps. Researcher: Mark Young"
