McCarthy: Snaffle bridles are a type of bridle. Looks like he had three "good" horses (fine snaffle bridles) and maybe some teams of mules. My guess would be if you bought 10 "plane" [plain] bridles, you would either have ten horses or mules or you bought some extra bridles in case some broke. "Kirbs" or curbs/kerbs were/are a strap or chain that works with the bit to restrain a horse/mule. Domestick. Sounds like to me that might be some type of material. Comb ticking is new to me but we know about ticking or tickings. Long ago it was like a bag filled with corn husks or straw for a bed or pillow. They could be placed on a bed frame or the floor.
