 Will for Jane Fort (23 March 1818), probated November 1822.  Daughter, Lucy Fort, was left $1.00.  Two sons, William and Edwin Fort. Daughters: Priscilla "Cressy" Fort married to James Browne, Jane Fort married to James Ellinor.


Accordingly to Monk Moore Jane Dickinson was married to Jacob Fort, son of John, son of
George, son of George, son of the first Elias.  There is a book called "A
Family Called Fort" by Homer T. Fort, Jr. and Drucilla Stovall Jones in
which they discuss Jane Dickinson as being married to Jacob Fort and Jane's
will leaving $1 to daughter, Lucy Ruffin, on page 223 of the book.
