Easter/Carlsbad trip May '03

Easter 2003.

Stoping by the side of the road to see a natural shelter where Indians used to live.

Entrance to Carlsbad Caverns. 1 1/4 miles of switchback pathway down 750ft.

Couldn't get any of the lit up formations in the Cavern as our flash would not work past 5 ft, so only a few closeups turned out.

Once we were down to the "Big Room" there was another 1 1/4 miles of pathway. There's an elevator to take you up!/Scott being law breaker!

This is one of my favorite pictures I took that day. Beth is jumping down a sand dune. Pretty professional picture, huh?/ The girl's passing out from thirst!
