There are all sorts of people
In the world.

Some are good. Some are bad.
Some are in-between.

Some are gentle. Some are kind.
Some are even mean.

I wish that there could be
Some kind of recipe
So you could pick and choose
Which qualities to use.

Three cups of happiness,
One of sad.

Quarter cup of honesty,
An eighth of lies.

Four teaspoons of wisdom,
A sprinkle of foolishness.

All of that,
And a tablespoon of pedigree

Too.
