We B. L. MARSHALL Joseph MATHEWS and George TROBAUGH heirs this day
bargained and sold and do hereby transfer and convay to Henry REDMAN his
heirs forever for a consideration of fifteen dollars ? me paid a certain
tract or lot of land in the State of Tennessee County Greene Dist No. 6
adjoining the lands of Henry REDMAN and L. M. HAUN?? and bounded as follows
Beginning on a white oak in the said HAUNS?? line and running East with
said line 19 Poles to two small Hickery's thence N. 12 7/10 Poles to a
stake thence W. 19 Poles to a small Dogwood thence S 12 7/10 Poles to the
beginning containing one and one half acre we do covenant with the said
Henry REDMAN his heirs and assigns forever that we are [unreadable ------]
good right to convey and bind our selves our heirs and representatives
to -------? and forever defend the title to said land and every part thereof
to the said Henry Redman ----- heirs and assigns against the lawful claims
