Know all men by thes. presents that we i Georg TROBAUGH may [crossed off]
have this day bargained and sold and do hereby transfer and convey to ?Leaner J. HAME? and her heirs and assigns forever for the consideration of one Hundred and ? dollars to me in hand parcel and track of land in the state of Tennessee County of Greene ???????.
Nine acres more or less ajoining the lands of Waller LYNCH? ?Lindy ann ROARK Jame POE & Jessee RADER? beginning at a stake in the road? North 33 1/2 East 28 poles to a small pin?? cem?? to Walter? line? south 42 3/4 East 58 2/10 poles to a swet gum --- ---? south 58 wets? 30 pols to a white oake come then a direct??? to the beginning to have and to hold the same to the said Leaner J. Harmer? her heirs and assigns for ever to convet with the said Leaner J. Harme? that we lawfully ---- of said land have a ----? right to convey it and that the same is unincumbered we do further covenet? and forever defend the title to said land and evry part ther after to the said Leaner J Harme? her heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all persons whatever this 10 day of Sept 1880 [could be a signature?]

1879 Deed - MARSHALL to REDMAN
 

We B. L. MARSHALL Joseph MATHEWS and George TROBAUGH heirs this day bargained and sold and do hereby transfer and convay to Henry REDMAN his heirs forever for a consideration of fifteen dollars ? me paid a certain tract or lot of land in the State of Tennessee County Greene Dist No. 6 adjoining the lands of Henry REDMAN and L. M. HAUN?? and bounded as follows Beginning on a white oak in the said HAUNS?? line and running East with said line 19 Poles to two small Hickery's thence N. 12 7/10 Poles to a stake thence W. 19 Poles to a small Dogwood thence S 12 7/10 Poles to the beginning containing one and one half acre we do covenant with the said Henry REDMAN his heirs and assigns forever that we are [unreadable ------] good right to convey and bind our selves our heirs and representatives to -------? and forever defend the title to said land and every part thereof to the said Henry Redman ----- heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all persons whatever. Whereunto we have set our hands and ----- signed and delivered in our presence this January 2 1879.
