I am a Steele from Delaware. But I can't find any leads. My Great grandfather Wilson Steele married MaryEllen Houser. Have no dates for any of them. They had 9 children :
Edward, Murray, Mae, Aaron, Arie(sp), Charles, Chalmers B. Jan 1903, D. 1979, and Katherine-may have died at an early age.
Charles was married to Katherine Middleton B. 10 Jul 1903, but she became the commonlaw wife of Chalmers. They are my grandparents. They had 8 children, although the first two were Charles and Katherine, two girls, Lavoura and Dorris. Chalmers and Katheri
e's children are Violet, Chalmers Jr., Carlton, Margaret, Mary and Hope.
Carlton B. 7 Oct 1934 is my father, married Sadie Heverin 4 May 1953.
They had 5 children: Richard, Carl, Donald, Marjorie, and Teresa.
So maybe somewhere there is a link. Hopefully I will find the info that will link me to a tree somewhere. I hope more Steele pages come up.

ew(?) Steele, b. 01/28/1903. I was told that my great grandfather's name was Wilson Steele. Then that is where it dries up. I can't find anything. I was told they originally lived in Chester, PA. My grandfather died in 1979. He had some brothers and siste

Plus the family had a dark secret. My grandparents were not married to each other. My grandmother was really married to my great Uncle Charles and they had two girls and hetried to sell them,(so that is what I was told). My grandfather kicked out Charles
nd then he took care of my grandmother and the girls. Then they started having children. Six to name.
