This is downtown Juneau, Alaska looking roughly south down the Gastineau Channel. We were there only briefly and it was, as usual for Juneau, raining. Still, something about the city and the surrounding area really enchanted us. We have been talking about going back ever since. (In fact, we did return to Juneau for a week in August 1998. Take a look. It was a wonderful vacation.)
