Sugared Carrots
ingredients:
1 lb ground sausage-browned
1 lg green pepper-diced
1 white onion-diced
2 med zucchini-sliced
2 med tomatoes-sliced (I do not recommend using store bought)
3 tbs butter
1 32oz package your favorite shredded cheese
directions:
In lg skillet melt 2tbs butter, saute pepper and onion untill
tender-crisp, remove, add remaining butter and saute zucchini
until tender crisp, layer sausage and pepper-onion mixture on top
of zucchini, layer tomatoes and sprinkle with cheese, cover and melt.
Serve immediately

ingredients:
4 lg potatoes-thinly sliced
2 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp italian seasoning
1 TBS butter
directions:
While grill is heating up, lay potatoes on large piece of aluminum foil.
Sprinkle with garlic salt and seasonings, top with butter, wrap tightly and
cook on grill on med heat for 20 minutes or until done.

ingredients:
chocolate pudding:
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 Tbs cocoa
3 1/2 Tbs corn starch
2 Tbs flour
3 cups milk
3 eggs (separated-yolks slightly beaten)
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp butter
Meringue:
3/4 tsp cream of tarter
3 egg whites
8 Tbs sugar
directions:
Combine first four ingredients in large saucepan, add milk
and cook stirring constantly (or close to it) until thick. Add
egg yolks, butter and vanilla, and pour into prebaked pie crust.
Allow to cool for 20 or 30 minutes. For meringue, beat egg whites
and cream of tarter while slowly adding sugar untill thick and holds
peaks. Spoon onto pie making sure to cover all the chocolate, then
bake at 350 until lightly browned (about 5 min)

ingredients:
pancakes:
1 cup flour
1/4 cup confectioners sugar
1 cup milk
2 eggs
3 Tbs melted butter
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt (may be left out)
topping:
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp each cinamon and nutmeg
1/4 cup light cream
4 bananas
directions:
Combine all pancake ingredients and cook on skillet until lightly
browned (pancakes will be very thin) While pancakes are cooking
combine all topping ingredients, except bananas, in medium skillet.
Slice bananas lengthwise and lay in skillet with topping ingredients.
When pancakes are done, roll banana halves in pancake, top with brown
sugar mixture and whipcream (if desired.)

Honeyed Chicken Teryaki
ingredients:
4 chicken breasts, skinned and cut into bite size pieces
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup honey
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
dash of ginger
1/2 cup flour
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup oil
directions:
Heat oil in large skillet, dip chicken pieces in flour, then egg, then
flour again and fry until golden brown. While chicken is cooking, in medium
sauce pan, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic salt, and ginger. Dip cooked
chicken in honey mixture to coat and bake on cookie sheet in 200 degree oven
for 20 minutes, turning once serve hot or at room temperature.

ingredients:
2 medium cucumbers, shredded
8oz box of spaghetti
1/3 cup salt
1 small onion, shredded
1 cup mayonnaise (real mayonnaise is recommended)
directions:
combine shredded onion and cucumber in medium mixing bowl, cover with
water, add salt, and allow to soak for at least two hours. Cook
spaghetti according to directions on box while cucumber and onion soak.
Rinse cucumber mixture well to remove salt, add cooked spaghetti and
mayonnaise, refridgerate for several hours.

ingredients:
6 carrots-peeled and cut diagonally
3 tbs brown sugar
3 pieces bacon
3 tbs chopped onion
directions:
Fry bacon until crisp in medium sauce pan, while bacon is frying boil
carrots in small amount of water. Remove cooked bacon from pan and saute
onion is bacon grease for 2-3 minutes. Add brown sugar and carrots, saute
for five minutes then crumble bacon on top.
