Hello and Thank You for checking out my home page. I am Larry Mars,
51 years old and a detective with a City Police Department in East
Texas. I have proudly served the citizens of Texas for over twenty
years as a Police officer.
This page is not for the purpose of causing me to appear all
experienced, expert, or of immediately having an answer to every
question posed. It is dedicated to the many normal, everyday people
who have had their lives changed or destroyed by becoming a victim
of crime.
It is my desire to present some frequently asked questions and
answers in a sincere hope that they may cause you a moment of
thought and reflection. This hope is that your own efforts will
help you from becoming a victim of crime. Some of the answers
may appear simplified, however if previous victims would have done
a question and answer session within themselves, they may well not
have become a victim.
If you have a question which you feel may be answered by a law
enforcement officer and do not see it presented; do feel free to
e-mail your question to me. I will research it and e-mail you and
may present your question and it's answer on this page in the future.
