The 1997 Florida Dachshund Picnic was held on November 8th at Edward Medard Park in Brandon, Florida. We all had a terrific time meeting each other and the dachies that we only knew through email. It was a cool fall day. Blankets and sweaters were the order of the day. The Florida sun warmed us as we bobbed for wieners, won door prizes and traded stories. We all look forward to next year. Many thanks to those who pitched in to make a great day and to the cooks who fed us.
