This page is dedicated to the direct descendants of Jules Renaud and Rosalie Girard who lived in the River Canard region of Ontario, Canada from the 1860s until the 1930s. Jules and Rosalie have over 300+ descendants whom I have documented. I am still looking for descendants of two of their children in particular. These two children are Leon Renaud and Russell Renaud. Leon was born about 1896 and Russell was born about 1902. Leon may have had a daughter named Germaine and a wife named Maria. Russell lived in Missouri and had twin boys. Little else is known about him. If you believe there may be a connection to yourself or someone you know, please email me.

The names of interest to this page are Renaud, Reno (changed when Theophile
Renaud immigrated to US), and Girard. That said, I have also done considerable
research and documentation on other names that have entered the family,
such as Drouillard, Dufour, Boismier, among others.
Feel free to drop a line or an inquiry if your relatives are from the Canadian
side of the Detroit River during this time period. I have probably found
records relating to them and am willing to share.
Also of interest are the families of my mothers parents Fedor Bilak (possibly
formerly Bielak) and Filomena Halat.
