And Now ...

Welcome to The Ice Castle and to Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada!

     Spring has arrived!!! YIPPEE!!! Or at least it has arrived somewhere ... But here, it's still cold and snowy. But we know it's coming and it's right around the corner. We know it because we can once again feel the warmth of the sun on our skin. We can see it in the rivulets of water running down the streets as the ice and snow slowly melt. We'll see it soon as the ice breaks up on the rivers and lakes that surround Yellowknife. We'll know it when the MacKenzie River finally opens up to ferry traffic, once again opening the Far North to the Southland.
          Ice and I plan on a busy spring and summer. We'll be gone for awhile in July, and then in August, I'll be taking some much needed time off from work and doing a major re-work on my pages, so please be patient with me, 'cause I know you'll be pleased with what I've done.
          Just a hint of what's to come ...special pages dedicated to my LOTH Sisters on the Net. A more wonderful and caring group of women, I've never known; A new POW/MIA dedication page; One for missing and abused children ... plus much, much more.
     But for now, follow me through the next few pages. See where it all began for Bob (Iceman) and me (Ice's Lady). Stop for awhile and smell the roses.
