What a great page! Apparently we are from the same Sanders branch. My great-great-grandfather, Samuel B., son of Simon, was born in Indiana. I wish I could find out more about his ancestry. We visited the Vaughan Cemetery in Madison Co. AR where they,
as well as other related Sanders, are both buried last November. And there must be something about Sanders and motorcycles! My dad had one and my brother had a Gold Wing. And I also have a nephew attending the Nazarene college at Bethany, OK.

Enoyed your site. My Sanders/Saunders line settled first in North Carolina, then Samuel who arrived here with his brother Joseph, left and moved to the Maryland/Pennsylvania border area. They were probably indentured on some tobacco plantation. Looking
for Joseph who would have been born before 1732, possibly about 1690-1700. Samuel's son Samuel moved to Kentucky in March 1779 then to Tennessee in August of that year and returned to Kentucky the next summer. In Tennessee he was at Mansker's Station in
resent day Goodlettsville, Tennessee. Other Sanders' in Kentucky do not seem to be related or we can find no connections.
