     76. AYERS, FELLOWS. F. M. S., Sept. 11, 1922. The will of John Ayers, The Pilgrim, dated 1657,
mentions only three daughters, viz, Rebecca, Mary and Hannah. Rebecca, born 1627, married 1648,
John Aislabee; Mary married, for second wife [sic], Nathaniel Parker, and Hannah married Stephen
Webster.

I know of no Ayers who married William Fellows, but in Haverhill and Ipswich there were many
Ayers. John Ayers, the Pilgrim, had five brothers and four sisters. Of the sisters, Elizabeth married
G. Tucker, Catherine married Thomas Hooker, Rebecca married John Law and Anne married John
Swan. Whether the brothers came to America or not I do not know. In 1700 nearly one-third of the
inhabitants of Haverhill were Ayers.
