Thomas Osborn, brother of Captain Joseph, died Aug. 1, 1807, aged ninety-one years one month twenty days. He married first, June 12, 1735, Elizabeth Smith; second, Feb. 20, 1778, Comfort Baldwin, widow of Elijah Alling and daughter of Nathan and Elizabeth (Rogers) Baldwin of Milford.
Sarah Hurd, wife of Ransom Osborn, was a daughter of Ebenezer and Hannah (Miles) Hurd. She had a brother named Sheldon, which may account for that name among her children. I can give you nothing further on the Hurd family.
