	_________   John Ayers, son of John Ayers, the Pilgrim, who died 1657, was born 1622, and
married, 1646, first Sarah Williams and second Mary Wooden, and died 1700 in West Farms, Conn.
and not Stonington.  The John Ayers who married Hannah Travis was son of Thomas and Elizabeth
(Hutchins) Ayers, and grandson of John the Pilgrim. 

     He [John Ayers who md Hannah Travis] was born May 12, 1657, and had nine children.  John Ayer,
the Pilgrim was born 1589-1592 (sic), son of Thomas Ayer who married Elizabeth Rogers, daughter of
John Rogers of Poole, England.  

     Thomas and Elizabeth (Rogers) Ayers, had ten children, viz: Robert, Giles, Christopher, Thomas,
William, John the Pilgrim married Hannah (Webb perhaps).  She died 1688.  Elizabeth, married G.
Tucker, Catherine married Thomas Hooker.  Rebecca married John Law and Anne married John
Swan.
