Her parents' names desired. 3. PRESCOTT. I desire birth and death of Hannah Prescott, daughter of Benjamin (3) Prescott, born Sept. 18, 1708, died 1789, who married, second, Abigail Gove. Also would like date of marriage of Hannah Prescott to Dudley Leavitt, born in Exeter, settled in Deerfield and died in Grantham, N. H. 4. MANCHESTER. Benson Manchester of Westport married Thankful Sanford of Tiverton in 1811, was son of James Manchester, private, Second Regiment, Bristol County militia. Wanted: name of wife, data and ancestry of James. A James Manchester is listed in Census of 1790 as residing in Westport, Mass. Is this the soldier? 5. BROWN, HUGHES. Bailey,'s "Early Connecticut Marriages" records marriage at Thompson, Conn., June 29, 1775, of Jesse Brown and Experience Marcy [?not clear] Hughes. The identity of this Jesse Brown is desired. 6. AYRES. BOLTON. Asa Ayers, Jr., born (where ?) March 1, 1791, died 1884, married (where ?) March 5, 1812, Rachel Bolton, born (where ?) Oct. 15, 1792, died in Michigan 1866. Their children were: Pameila 1812; Emily 1814; Maria, 1816; Almon Perry, 1818, at Kirtland, Lake County, Ohio; James Bolton, 1820; John Nelson, 1822; Laura, 1825; Charles Wesley, 1827; Mary 1831; Ransom 1833 [?or 1835?]; and Benjamin Franklin, 1838. Wanted: parentage of Asa Ayers, Jr. and Rachel Bolton. The Massachusetts Census of 1790 gives an Asa Ayres of South Hadley with two free males of sixteen years and upwards, and three females. Could this man have been father to Asa Ayers, Jr.? 7. LOVEJOY. William (5) and Richard (5) Lovejoy (Richard 4, John 3, 2, 1 of Andover) were born in Plainfield, Conn., and both removed to Vermont, becoming original grantees of Sharon. Richard (5) was in Plainfield as late as 1771, but later chosen [?not clear] highway surveyor in Sharon. Some of William (5) Lovejoy's children settled in ____ [? not clear; possibly 3 letters], VT. Did either William (5) or Richard (5) have a daughter or granddaughter Miriam, born 1781, in Vermont, married Abel Carpenter of Westminster, and removed later to Ohio?
