#647. 1. STEVENS, GODDARD. Nathan Goddard of Orange married Dorothy Stevens of Petersham. Was she born 1721, Rutland, Mass., daughter of Joseph (2) (Cyprian 1) and Prudence (____) Stevens? Wanted, parentage of Prudence and identity of Dorothy Stevens of Petersham.

2. STEVENS, MINER. Who was Mary Stevens (born 1672), wife of Ephraim (3) Miner (Ephraim 2, Thomas 1) of Stonington?

3. WILLIAMS, AVERY. Wanted, parentage of Henry Williams who married Nov. 3, 1738, at Stonington, Abigail Avery. Their children were: Desier, 1740; Avery, 1741; Elizabeth, 1743; Henry Jr., 1745. Henry, Jr. became a preacher and lived in Guilford, Vt. Name of wife wanted. She died in Leverett, Mass., Nov. 4, 1835, aged seventy-nine years, and he died Nov. 27, 1811. Their children were: Mary, 1782; Susanna, 1790; Lucy, died 1792.

4. AYERS, BELL, WAIT. Samuel Ayers, born about 1714, removed in 1740 from Brookfield to Granby. Was drowned Nov. 15, 1768. Married Martha Bell, who died Oct. 25, 1765. Their son Asa Ayers, born June 5, 1761, married Mary Wait and removed to Ohio. When did he go? Was he the Asa Aires, Revolutionary soldier of Massachusetts, and the Asa Ayers of Hadley, listed in census of 1790? Where was his son Asa, Jr., born (date of birth, 1791). Wanted ancestry of Martha Bell and Mary Wait.

5. AYERS. Is the following Ayers line correctly traced? Capt. John (1) Ayers married Susanna Symonds. Samuel (2) Ayers, born about 1651, married, March 21, 1677. Abigail Fellows of Newbury, Mass. Samuel (3) Ayers, born about 1692, married, June 7, 1715, Elinor Randall of Ipswich. They had: Martha 1718; John 1721; Elizabeth 1723. Did they also have a son Samuel (4) born perhaps 1716 who married Martha Bell and had a son Asa, born 1791?

Who was the Samuel Ayers married Dec. 14, 1681, Mary Johnson of Hampton? He died Feb. 17, 1697 leaving children as follows: Samuel, born Sept 14, 1638 [1658?]; John, Joseph, Mary and Susan, who married Thomas Wait. The oldest son, Samuel, born 1658 [date?], married Mary Fuller, a widow (published June 23, 1721). He died Oct. 21, 1743, at Ipswich, leaving a son Samuel who was born Feb. 17, 1723.
