     #9375.  3.  SYMONDS.  A. R. H.   Oct. 2, 1922.  Mark (1) Symonds, of Ipswich, born about 1684;
married Joanna (___). He died at Ipswich, April 28, 1659; she died there April 29, 1666. Their daughter
Susanna married Captain John (1) Ayres of Ipswich, and Brookfield, Mass. There is nothing to show
that Mark (1) Symonds was related to Samuel Symonds of Ipswich, who married, first, Dorothy
Harlakenden.

     4. AYRES. William (1) Fellows of Ipswich married a sister of Captain John (1) Ayres, her first name
unknown. Their daughter, Abigail (2) Fellows, married her cousin Samuel (2) Ayres, March 21, 1677.
He was born about 1651, son of Captain John (1) and Susanna (Symonds) Ayres.

     Joseph (2) Ayres, born about 1648, married, June 9, 1684, Sarah Caldwell. She was born about
1658, daughter of John and Sarah (Dillingham) Caldwell. Samuel (2) Ayres and wife Abigail had a son
Samuel (3), born about 1690, but I judge before 1700. Your Samuel Ayres, if born about 1714, would
hardly be son of Joseph (2) Ayres and wife Sarah Caldwell, as she was born about 1658.
