SP FOX, Elizabeth, Born 1 Jan 1786 in Virginia, Married 1811 in Kentucky for 52 years, Died 28 Apr 1863 in Warwick Co., Indiana at age 77; She was reportedly the d/o Abraham Fox & was 1st married to Jonathan Barrow 8/6/1805. He and Elizabeth had 3 daughters, Polly b. 1806, Sally b. 1808, and Nancy b. 1809. They left Ky. about 1842 for Warrick Co., Indiana near Booneville and resided there the rest of their lives. Both are buried in Friendship Cemetery at Booneville.--(Wilson 1982, p.7-8.) According to the Barrow, "An Early Southern Family", Vol 2 she might have been b. in Wayne Co., Ky which could have been in VA in 1786.

      2. . . 2 WILSON, Moses, Born 1788 in Henry Co., Virginia, Died 1851? in Russell Co., Kentucky at age 63; He united with the Pleasant Point Baptist Church in 1832 by letter. There seems to be some controversy as to whom he married, some have thought he married 1st Ann Stephens, d/o Wm. Stephens, Sr. and she died after one child was born to them, a daughter also named Ann or Anna, and then married Elizabeth Hopper.--Wilson (1982) believes that Moses uncle, Moses Wilson, b. ca. 1777 was the one who married the Stephens girl and also Elizabeth Hopper. He also states that there is a record by Wm. Smith, who was a brother-in-law to the elder Moses that Moses Wilson came with him from Virginia to Ky. in 1805 and was 28 years of age at that time. This agrees with the age of the uncle, b. 1777. This younger Moses b. 1788, had at least 6 children that we have records of.--(Wilson 1982, p. 9.)

The old home site is on up ground near where the Little Creek empties into House Fork Creek, about 300 yards southwest or more west by the side of a small branch that comes down through the field.--(Ellison 1991) Moses was a charter member of the United Baptist Church and records of this church show that on the second Saturday in April 1831 that Sintha Wilson united with the church by experience and Baptism, and on the next meeting day, the second Saturday in May 1831, Thomas Wilson united with the church by experience and Baptism. Also after this he was chosen several times as Moderator of their meetings in the absence of their pastor. Then, in April 1843, he was chosen to be ordained as a Deacon. The ordination was held the second Saturday in August 1843, and he served until his death on 10/10/1843. After the church was moved from their first location in 1867, there was no church at this site known as the Pleasant Point stand until 1879, the institution of a new church known as the NEW Pleasant Point United Baptist Church and it still existed in 1979.--(Wilson 1982, p. 10.)
