Come,Lord Jesus

As I tour the 'net' I meet many people  who talk of the end times,
and I ponder on the end times and  on the book of Revelations
which came to John in a dream.
And I wonder about it - but I do not dwell on it.

My thoughts go riot and I hear Jesus saying
"I go to prepare a place for you"
"In my Father's house there are many mansions"
"today you will be with me in paradise."

Well, my parents, grandparents etc are all in paradise.
My husband, also, is in paradise.
This is my firm belief that they are with God.
To what extent I do not know - but they are there.

I believe it is up to us, the Christians of today,
to help in the work of our Creator
to bring about the end time.

It does not matter which Church you belong to,
as we are all individuals and therefore have preferences
as to how we wish to worship,
and which set of  rules we wish to believe in.

The important thing is to be a Christian first.
First a Christian always a Christian,
and if all the religions of man disappeared
we would still be Christian.

For to be a Christian is to be a follower of Christ.

God wants us under one banner with one Head.
Our banner is the banner of  Christ.
Our Head is God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
Three in One and One in Three.

Together they form the Head
and the Head is to whom we owe our allegiance.
In the time of the early Christians
some followed Apollo and some followed Petrus.
We are no different.

I am a Catholic and my friends
are Uniting Church, Pentecostal, Salvation Army,
Assembly of God, Anglican.
What a mixture!
but together we can work and together we can pray.

And so my friends,
let us prepare every day,
in readiness for the time when Jesus will come again,
whether it be at the time of our death
or in some other way as John prophesied.

Let us always be prepared
to see every opportunity that is offered to us
and to use it for furthering the Kingdom of God
here on earth.

Let us all become true Christians in our worship of God
and in following in the footsteps of the one who saves us,
Jesus Christ.

Let us live each day by His example
and as He turned no-one away.
Let us try to be the same.

Let us strive to treat every person we meet,
no matter who they are, or what they do,
as a vessel from God the Father
who created each one of us.

To be a Christian is to take Christ
out into the market place, out into the streets.
To show Christ and His Way to all those we meet.

Jesus said  "When the Son of Man comes as King
and all his angels with him......
'Come you that are blessed by my Father!
Come and possess the kingdom which has been prepared
for you since the creation of the world.'

Jesus said:
'I was hungry and you fed me,
thirsty and you gave me a drink;

I was a stranger
and you received me in your homes,
naked and you clothed me;

I was sick and you took care of me,
in prison and you visited me."

The righteous will then answer him,

'When Lord,
did we ever see you hungry and feed you,
or thirsty and give you a drink?

When did we ever see you a stranger
and welcome you into our homes,
or naked and clothe you?

When did we ever see you sick
or in prison, and visit you?

                    The King will reply,

'I tell you, whenever you did this
for one of the least important of these brother of mine,
you did it for me!'
