Mary the Mother of God
This page is dedicated to a very special person.
When God decided to send His Son down to earth,
He chose Mary to be His Mother.
She watched over Him while He was a little child
and taught Him all the things that mothers
through the ages have taught their children.
When He grew up and became a man, she supported Him
in the same way as we support our children.
She watched His struggles as He tried to tell people
of the Kingdom of God.
Some believed,many didn't.
Not much different to our society today.
Finally, she was there as He hung on the Cross and died.
Died, so that we might have life, and have it to the full!
We can accept that gift He gave us or we can reject it.
I pray that we may all see it in our hearts to accept,
God's invitation.
A prayer to Mary
the Mother of our Lord Jesus.
Hail Mary, full of grace.
The Lord is with you.
Blessed are you among women,
and blest is the fruit of your womb
Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
