Material found in banners above not endorsed by author of this site!   Things That Annoy Me I feel that the World Wide Web experience should be enjoyable over-all. But there are a few things that I cannot stand. So that I can feel better, I'll vent here. By no means are the following items wrong, just....well, irritating. I would suggest not doing them. Frames - Frankly, I hate frames. Even the ones that are used well I find annoying because their are so many out there that are not used well. And what's worse is when you take the person's frame with you wherever you go! STOP THE INSANITY! Blinking Text - I personally cannot stand blinking text. I find it a bit crude, and half the time I can't read it fast enough before it blinks off again. Music on every page - I'm a musician (at least I have a degree in it) and I love music. But when I go to someone's site, I don't like having to wait forever for the music to load. And when it plays while the page is loading, it skips around like an bad record. I think the better thing is to have several music selections on a page & let the person choose when/what/if he/she wants to listen to. Also, change the settings so that the music doesn't load when the page does. Let me choose to turn it on. Java Overload - I think many of us have experienced this....too many Java messages. This is not fun. Especially when it crashes my computer. Animated Gifs - Animated gifs are really cool...in moderation. Not 80 of them on one page. They should be a part of the page, not just there because they are neat-looking.
