To God our Savior,

Who alone is wise,

Be glory and majesty,

Dominion and power,

Both now and forever.Amen.

Jude 1:25

Both wisdom and grace are revealed in redemtion. We not only see boundless love in the cross of Jesus Christ, but infinite wisdom. It is there, and there only, that the full display of all God's attributes may be seen. After we have been brought to know the riches of His grace, we are often called to show our faith in the perfection of His wisdom. Not in redemption only, but in providence we have to trust the wisdom of God, When we see not the why or the wherefore, when all our ways are dark and clouded, to be able still to rest content with His leading and appointment, not because we see or understand, but because we are sure that He knows—this is to trust the only wise God our Savior. God the father is our Savior through the mediation of His Son. It was the Father who sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.

Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! —Romans 11:33
