Comments: Just dropped in to see if there were any familiar names; unfortunately I don't know very much about my father's side of the family -- only my grandfather, Dewey Husted (1898-1952). I think my sister has a family tree done by one of Dewey's sisters, but am not sure. I didn't think the name was very common, but am surprised by how many there are in the white pages on the internet. I always thought the name was Scandinavian, but you suggest it is English. I know the family tree I mentioned above goes back to he 18th century. I'll see if I can find it and email you again.

Comments: Fascinating information! My great-aunt did genealogy research some years ago which I have in typed form. Our names match with yours. I seem to have some dates and other information that you do not have. I show our line is: 4 David Husted 5 David Husted 6 Jonathan Husted You show 5 David Husted as having 4 children - Henry, David, Daniel and Priscilla. We show him as having a fifth - Jonathan, born 1-8-1768 and died 3-14-1815 and buried at Old Cohansey Ch., Bridgeton, NJ. He married Hannah Sayre Bacon on 10-29-1792 and had nine children, one of which was William Husted - our ancestor. Jonathan was a member of the Bridgeton Vol. Co. Light Infantry in 12-1793. In looking at husted.com I find they have a John Husted listed as being a child of David Husted and Priscilla D ament instead of Jonathan Husted and their dates don't match ours. There seems to be a mix-up somewhere. I think we're probably descended from someone in your genealogy or Jonathan Husted is correct as being a child of David Husted and Priscilla Diament Do you have any insight into this or anyone I can contact about it?
