Incom and Jinx

Okay, okay, they're not really really REAL horses, but they're horses-- stuffed horses. You see, even registered thoroughbreds like me like stuffed animals. So, maybe I should tell you about some of my stuffed pals-- just for the pure heck of it.

Incom:
Though his name's officially Speed Limit, we just affectionatly call him, well, Incom. He's two hands high at the withers and he's a light bay with a white blaze. His birthplace is in Salt Lake City, Utah, which is where I met him and took him home with me to my barn. I know, I know, you want to know just what kind of a name "Incom" is. Well, it's the name of a town, in Idaho, only it's spelled "Inkom" with a "k". We were on vacation, it was night, and I saw a sign read: Inkom, next right. And I thought it would be a good nickname. A year later, we came back, I saw the sign, and solved the mystery of where in the U.S.A. Incom got his name! Just call me creative.

Jinx:
Jinx is Incom's best buddy, and what best describes this guy is his size. He's... well... little! He's only half a hand high at the withers! (that's two inches, for all you non-horsey folks out there.) And, as with Incom, Jinx is just a nickname. His real name is One In A Million (he's definatly that!) His nickname, Jinx, was taken from the Super Nintendo game Super Mario RPG. (Nintendo fans will know why it's Jinx and not Mallow, Geno or Booster.) But, even for his size, Jinx is a fastie, known to run as fast as a Quarter Horse for as long as a Thoroughbred. He was born somewhere in Washington State before coming here. Jinx and Incom-- What a pair!

Strawberry Ice:
Strawberry Ice is a rather large puppet I got for Christmas, and is now quite honored to have his story on this web page! Strawberry Ice is his "registered" name, "Kix" is his nickname, you know, Strawberries, Berry Berry Kix... anyway, he likes reading, joking around and eating apples... more on him later.

Kleenex:
Kleenex is the nickname of a stuffed horse I got at Wal-Mart a few months ago named "Common Cold." The big thing about this guy is he sneezes. Yes. He's allergic to anything... flowers, grass, even hay, the poor guy. Every few words he'll break down in a sneezing attack. Bring out the Sudafed! Kleenex's got chronic allergies.

Derby:
Derby is my only TY Beanie Baby horse and Beanie Baby fans are sure to know all about him! I got him for a dual birthday/Christmas present just a few months ago (My birthday and Christmas are 3 days apart) and he's already settled in, although he wishes he could be as popular and well-known as his "heroes," Kix, Incom, and Jinx. He loves messages directed at him on the Message Board, so go talk to him! I'm sure he'd reply to them all. Just say "Dear Derby" for the subject... by the way, to get to the Message Board, you have to go the Equi-Club Barn

P.S. Jinx wants the world to know he is a Nintendo freak, and is good at it too. He's requested that he post one of his favorite tips here on the Internet for Super Mario RPG, his favorite SNES game. He says after you have all of the charactors and some strong weapons in the tough areas or when you are fighting a boss, Mario, Princess, and Bowser make the best team. In the easier areas, Mario, Mallow, and Geno are the best team.
Incom says he is good with computers and just about anything that has to do with horses-- it's clear he's my horse!
