May of 2000 brought another meeting, this time at Karen's! We had three moms and babies come. LOL, I can't believe I forgot to post about it. Jo came with Benito, and Adele came with baby John and dh John. The babies were SO cute! I took a bunch of pix and I know Adele's dh took a bunch too. Very difficult to get them all to stay still to GET a pic though! Kristin would not cooperate for the "group" pic at all. The kids had fun playing with the toys.........we had Domino's for lunch (it was HOT that day, no cooking going on HERE....LOL). Adele and crew had eaten on the way over from CT, but Jo, Kris, Benito, and I all enjoyed the pizza and breadsticks. We went outside to play and it immediately started RAINING. Got all the kids back into the house......and it immediately STOPPED raining. LOL! So we went back out again, played on the swings and slides, in the playhouse, in the coupe cars, etc... Adele had to head back soon afterwards, but Jo and B. stayed for a little while longer. Before long, MissKris and Mr. Benito were playing next to eachother like best buds. :) It was great to meet Adele, and great to see Jo again! Hopefully, Jo and I will start getting together more often....we're only about an hour away from eachother. JO "Yes, it was a great visit! Hopefully Adele will be able to post about it soon, too. She is so nice and she has a ready laugh. (Haven't heard that phrase since Nancy Drew, huh? ) :) Lil John IV was a cutie. Kristin is not a baby, she's a little girl, and Karen was telling stories about how much Kristin likes the alphabet. Cute! Karen and family are so friendly and their home so welcoming that no one wanted to leave, esp the babies. Um, can you say, TOYS? B and Kristin took to John III right away, and wouldn't let him write his wedding toast! Funny. ADELE I'm on the run now, but I just wanted to let you know, he ended up mostly ad-libbing and it was a BEAUTIFUL toast. It made me cry."
