What are the Jaycees?

Simply put, we are the organization of choice for men and women 21-39 years of age who want the best opportunities for leadership development, volunteerism, and community service.

Who are the Kona Jaycees?

Kona Jaycees come from all walks of life. We are policemen, firemen, cofee farmers, engineers, secretaries, bank officers, lawyers, teachers, students, politicians, chefs, waiters, social workers, et cetera.

Jaycees are young men and women, ages 21 through 39. They provide leadership training opportunities for themselves while they plan, organize and conduct projects and programs in their communities and chapters.

What are the benefits of active membership?

A Jaycee member has the opportunity to meet, network and interact with an aggressive group of you people from their community, to help conduct worthwhile projects which benefit their community and fulfill a need for personal growth.

How much does membership cost?

The Kona Jaycees annual dues are $40. This amount also provides you with membership in the Hawaii Jaycees, the United States Junior Chamber of Commerce, and Junior Chamber International. Included in your dues are subsciptions to several Jaycee publications.

How do I join?

Joining the Kona Jaycees is easy. Simply complete our prospective member form and we will have a member contact you as soon as possible.
