The Kona Jaycees organize and man an aid station for the Keauhou-Kona Triathlon. Again this year the Jaycees manned the aid station located on the run course in the area known that the runners know as the "pit".
The Keauhou-Kona Triathlon is both a half-Ironman distance triathlon and an individual Olympic distance triathlon. The Keauhou-Kona Triathlon is an official Ironman World Championship qualifying event.
