A Friend Is... A friend is one who's there, A friend is one who cares. A friend is one who is forever, A friend won't hurt you ever. A friend is one who you can turn to, A friend will always believe you. A friend always tells the truth, A friend never needs proof. A friend doesn't turn their back, A friend loves you, no matter what. A friend doesn't care what you do, A friend is a person, true blue, like you.
Good-bye You were a friend, a brother, and son, but, now, you are only a whisper in the wind full of memories, forever held on to. Your life was short but fruitful, and happy and it is those times that you had with us that give us the strength to live on, without you and to say goodbye.Illusions Illusions are not there... they're just tricks that your brain plays just to piss you off... They may not be real, but they feel as if they were real events happening to you, but, it seems, this time, your death is not just an illusion. Unanswered Questions the silence envelopes me, as a glove to a hand. through this darkness I strain to see an answer, to all my unanswered questions about what went so wrong. I listen, but hear nothing, and I long to hear your voise soothing away my deepest fears and bringing light to my darkened world. The following is a poem by another poet.... i read it in a book and loved it... it is my all
time favorite... Unconquerable Out of the night that covers me, black as the pit from pole to pole, I thank whatever gods may be, for my unconquerable soul. In the clutch of circumstance, I have not winced, nor cried aloud. Under the blodgeonings of chance, my head is bloody, but unbowed. Beyond this place of wrath and teas, loosing the horror of the shade, and yet the menace of the years finds, and shall find, me unafraid. It matters not how straight the gate, how charged with punnishment the scroll, I am the master of my fate, I am the master of my soul. William Ernest Henly Now, this is a poem that a good friend of mine wrote me.... it kinda gave me a sence of peace inside that no one else has ever given me... I hope you enjoy it... The Wind In It's Travels The wind came down from mountains cold, and like a tide it roared and rolled: the branches groaned, the forest moaned, and leaves on trees struggled hard to hold. The wind went from West to East: all movement in the forest ceased but shrill and harsh across the marsh, it's whistling voices were released. The grasses hissed, thier blades bent, the reeds were rattling- on it went... over stirring pool under heavens cool where raving clouds were torn and sent. It passed the lonly mountains bare and swept overtop a fox's lair; there solemn and alone let out a moan and stirred some dust up in the air. It left the world and took it's flight over the dark seas of the night. The moon set sail upon the gale, and stars sparkled like leaping light. This is somthing special that i wrote for someone very special in my life. I am here for you Now, always, and forever. As long as it is "us" We'll always be together. Whatever you shall need I will get it for you. For as long as I am alive I will always love you. This is a poem by a good friend of mine and my moms. He sent it to me and asks that it is

The thought, the power, I have no control, Yet, I'm glad I have endured. The kids destroyed themselves today. Seconds vanished the lives of a few. 25 in total, their souls away, This horror, I wish, not true. Hundreds of people are left in the wake, Indeed, cultures shall feel affect someway. As I sit here in mourn, trying to solve, This great burden which we all must pay. The guns, the bombs, the shrieks of terror, will not silence in our minds, ever cease. In the minds to those who are left to pray, Tenfold must strive to find peace. My mind is now with the children, our young, who can reshape our earth. They have a chance to make it right, For all of us to share a new birth. I have chosen to cry and feel grief for all, I have to, for I feel I am part. To me we were worldly, ever so large, But today, were small, some with no heart. Yet, I yearn for the child, our babes for all time, our future, our loved, and our damned. The strife, the grief, the feelings they show, Are ignored, and smeared, and then shammed. We don't hear them cry as they come of age, We can’t see the pain felt each day. Too busy we are, to wrapped up in time, We have forgotten why we should pray. Kids, I will help to guide you, take you through dark times, that can tarnish your lives for all time. We may brush away fear, learn compassion for all, Fill the world with our hearts, sublime. I shall always remain faithful, to your true thoughts, each one I shall always finds ways to help you. Most of all, you have me, as I am in this world, My life, offered to all, yes it is true. To the world at large, please open up your minds, Let child talk and respond without fear, We must let them dance to their tunes, as they are, We must nurture their lives, it’s so dear. To the children, I shall say I love you. You won’t have to fear of in this world. I offer myself, to all of mankind, Its true nature which has not yet unfurled. Gregg K.
