CAPPS information
Hezekial Capps (no other information on him, don't know who he married) had Henry Capps, who married Alberta Sparrow. [They h]ad Junius Elmore Capps b 7/28/1920 in Durham County NC d 9/20/1970 in NJ. Junius married Rollon Mae Pierce b 12/23/1925 Halifax Co NC d 9/17/1996 in NJ. Junius had a brother named Clayborn Capps (no other information available on him). He is also said to have a sister named Latisha (no other information on her either).
I don't know if I ever told you or not, but my family does have [Native American] in them. Cherokee, my aunt says. I posted a message on the Bulletin Board on Prodigy, a very nice woman from Durham County NC responded to me, and went today to look up my Grandfather's birth certificate. That Alberta [CAPPS] I found in the SSDI [Social Security Death Index] must be my Great Grandmother. She was 34 when she gave birth to my Grandfather. And, my Great Grandfather was actually 29. He was younger than her. They had three children (including Junius [CAPPS]) and only two were living. So they had one that had died. That I didn't know. She also listed a bunch of Capps deaths from a death index.
I have information on my Uncle now, too. Went to the library today and got it. He is the son of Junius [Capps] and Rollon Mae Pierce [Capps. Robert E. Capps, also known as Robert Fineberg , DOB November 13, 1944, in Alexandria VA; DOD July 2, 1976, in Cape May County NJ. He had a brother named Michael Warren Capps DOB 1944-52, in Burlington County, NC; DOD 8/2, again, between 1944 and 1952 (he was only a toddler if that), Burlington, NC, buried in Alamance Memorial Park, Burlington County, NC.
