met Sedora Euphrasia Parker, daughter of John M. Parker, in Stanley NC,
where Thomas Capps had gone for work

married her in (?)Charlotte NC

1904: he and "Dorie" had Siamese twin boys, stillborn

12JUL1911: buried in Elmwood Cemetery, Charlotte, NC
cause of death: "apparently struck by lightening"
was 63 years old at death, according to cemetery records

11SEP1911: Java Louise Capps was born; named for her mother's friend Java Price
