Genealogy here consists primarily of the BEESON, READ, MONZINGO, MAXEY, DONNAN, BRADLEY, HEATH and SMYTHE surnames. I have lots of others, but have concentrated on these ancestors for this page.

I have copies of Henry Hart Beeson’s genealogy book and Edythe Maxey Clark’s “the Maxeys of Virginia”. Both have been included in my database which has over 11,000 individuals, but for the most part are not shown on my home page, at least for now.

Hobbies include:

scale sailing ship models, RC boat and sailplane models, woodworking, fishing, and golf.

My ancesters here in the USA go back to Edward Beeson. They stretch back to William Malet, one of the signers of the Magna Charta via Charity Grubb. See Magna Charta.

EDWARD BEESON married RACHEL PENNINGTON about 1679 in Pa. Edward was born 1652 in Lancaster (or Leicestershire), Lancaster, England and died March 1711/12. Rachel was born about 1658 in England and died in New Castle Co., Del.
