Come join in the celebration!

In 1973, we were just starting out. Let’s get back together

We’ve tried to plan something for everyone and hope you will enjoy these events!
Please join us in searching for classmates and spreading the word.

Weekend Agenda:

Friday, July 31, 1998 @ 1:00 pm

Start off the reunion with a round of golf with some ol’ friends at Glenn Dale Golf Course. Tournament limited to 40. $80 includes greens fees, golf cart, lunch, door prizes, raffles and more... OR just come anyway - to hang out and enjoy lunch and the pool for $15. Check with the committee members above for availability!

Friday, July 31, 1998 @ 6:00 pm to ?

Dress casual for the "Meet, Greet, All-You-Can-Eat Seafood Fest" at Bowie’s Comfort Inn.

Enjoy Alaskan crab legs, shrimp, oysters, mussels, fresh fish, and veggies ($16.95 payable to the Comfort Inn). Or, order off the regular menu. Coffee and iced tea are free. Cash bar. We’ll also have the awards ceremony from the golf tournament at this event.

Saturday, August 1, 1998 @ 8:00 pm to ?

Start poolside for the beach theme party with hors d’oeuvres. Then move inside for the casual get-together dance. We’ll pay the D.J. overtime to spin tunes until 2:00 am. Coffee and iced tea are free. Cash Bar.

Sunday, August 2, 1998 @ 11:00 am to ?

Rain or shine, meet us at Allen Pond at the West Pavilion. Bring your own food, or support Bowie High School student clubs that will set up tables to sell hot dogs, pizza, soft drinks, water and other goodies. Make fun at the gazebo, play some horseshoes or volleyball or rent a paddle boat. We paid extra for an alcohol permit (no glass please) and electrical permit so bring your music.

Our all-volunteer committee has tried to fill this long weekend with lots of activities
for a low cost. In addition to food, there are other costs for postage, paper, printing,
envelopes, re-mailings, decorations, name tags, memory books, souvenirs, picnic permits,
games, prizes, the clown, the Girl Scouts and overtime for the D.J.

We hope you appreciate the many months of planning and research. Have fun!
