Rain or Shine. Bring your family to Allen Pond’s West Pavilion in Bowie for the traditional reunion picnic. We have purchased permits for electricity and alcohol, so bring your own everything.

We have hired a clown to perform, and will donate money to a local Girl Scout troop who will help entertain the young ones with lots of games and races. Every child will earn prizes and goodies!

Allen Pond offers free volleyball and horseshoes or rental boats. Remember the gazebo? Bring your own softball equipment and play between 3-5 pm.

From 7-8 pm, the City of Bowie will host a sunset concert!

Help support Bowie High clubs. Kids will set up tables to sell hot dogs, pizza, soft drinks, water and other items to raise money for their activities.

Everyone wins!

Do you know where they are?

Please send in any names and addresses you may have so that we can be certain everyone receives an invitation.

Remember...even a parent or family member’s address will help.

We need your help. Please look up as many names and addresses and send them in to make sure everyone gets an invitation. Even a parent or family member address will help. We had to start over, there is no data base and the school will not release old addresses due to privacy laws. From now on, the Class will retain a database file.

Send information to Class of 1978, P.O. Box 1044, Bowie, MD 20718 or e-mail to: bowiealumni@erols.com

This all-volunteer committee has tried to fill this long weekend with lots of activities for a low cost.

In addition to food, there are other costs for postage, paper, printing, envelopes, re-mailings, decorations, name tags, memory books, souvenirs, picnic permits, games, prizes, the clown, the Girl Scouts and overtime for the D.J. We hope you appreciate the many months of planning and research. Have fun!
