I loved the home page comment about getting here. Thats a really cool introduction. My snake was about two feet long, mostly black with white outlines of splotches over its body. I have no idea if its dangerous or not.

Thank you for the snake info WITH PICTURES!!! We just moved to Florida, and being springtime, creatures are coming out of hiding. I just found a red-bellied snake on my lanai- scared the cr#@&! out of me, but found that it is non-poisonous on your site. The snake has been safely moved back to the bushes to eat bugs and worms. I didn't kill it. Thank you again!

Your site was helpful in identifying a snake that found it's way into my home. I believe it was a corn snake. I hate to say it is now a dead snake due to the fact I was unsure of it's species.
