Life At The North Pole
Teresa and John from Florida wrote and asked what life at The North Pole is like.  Now I will try to tell you.

Santa's Village is like most neighborhoods except the houses are more like gingerbread cottages. Just like the ones you see at Christmas.

The Street Lights are shaped like Candy Canes and everyone has a picket fence. There are not any cars at The North Pole.  We do all our traveling by sleigh.  Not Santa's Magic Christmas Sleigh, that is only used to deliver gifts at Christmas.

Santa and I take care of the Elves.  They are like our children.
Like children the Elves are not perfect.  The other day Sammy and Franky got into a shouting match over one of the games they were playing.  Santa gave them both "Time Out'.

Santa's Village has Schools, Churches, and Shops where we purchase things we need.  Yes, the Elves do attend school and they bring homework home.  I check the work along with Arthur,The Head Elf.

Since we have a lot of snow the Elves love to ice skate and go sledding. Now they even play soccer. The Elves also like to play with the new toys made at the Toy Factory.

Everyone at The North Pole has a job to do to get ready for Christmas.  We start our day very early and always make sure the Elves eat a good breakfast. Then we begin our day.

Some of the Elves go to school and the rest go to their jobs.  Santa goes to the factory to create new toys and games and I answer letters that children send us.

Our day ends with a good dinner and yes we sometimes have a problem with the Elves who don't want to eat their vegetables.
Since vegetables are so important to our health Santa and I insist that the Elves at least try to eat some of the vegetables served.  They have been good at doing this for us.

Please remember that at Christmas Village we are busy all year getting ready to deliver gifts all over the world.  Although most children only think about Santa during the Christmas Season we are here working to make your next Christmas as special as the last.

Santa and I are always happy to receive letters and E Mails from children.  The Elves also asked if any of the children have ideas about any new games to play.  Write and let us know what game is your favorite.
