The Gwinnett Senior Center is a 16,500 square foot recreation facility which offers two arts and crafts rooms, game room (complete with two pool tables), lounge area, lending library, a conference and meeting rooms, and a large multipurpose room accommodating up to 350. Amenities include a large patio, horseshoe pits, Shuffleboard and Pingpong, a small scenic lake with a walking trail and the SeniorNet Computer Learning Center.
The purpose of the Gwinnett Senior Center is to provide a center of activity with a caring and supportive atmosphere that will bring social, recreational and educational opportunities to the daily lives of the senior population (age 50 and over) of Gwinnett County.
The Senior Center offers classes in arts and crafts, exercise, line dancing, bridge, tap dancing, clogging, computer training, and much more! Also a variety of trips and special events are planned monthly just for seniors.
