Do you ever wake in tears
And sadness fills your day?

Or things crowd your mind,
That you gently push away?

Do you wonder, if by chance,
It was just a dream?

Or do you cast your doubts
On more human things?

Do you look at your life
And pray to God above,

Knowing somehow He'll forgive,
And show His tender love?

Hidden in the Darkness of your mind
You know God loves you, no matter what,

For He sent His only son to die for us,
Forgiving sins, and dying, so we would not.

You'll wipe those tears away now,
If you really think things through,

And know that they were there,
Because Christ's suffering was for me and you.
