STRANGE BUT TRUE - Facinating Facts

1) If a rumour was started at midnight and repeated within 2 seconds by everyone who knew about it to 2 people and those 2 people told 2 people and those 2 people told another 2 people...everyone on earth would know about it by 6.30 in the morning.


2) The women of Ancient Greece used to count their ages from the day they were married rather than the day they were born. It was considered that life only began for women after they were married!


3) Albert Einstein, one of the most formidably clever men of this century, failed the entrance exam for Zurich Polytechnic when he was 16.


4) When cats hear a dog barking, the soles of their paws very often perspire.
