DEEDS FAMILY UPDATE!This
page will probably be of little interest to anyone who doesn't know us personally, but if you don't know us personally and you feel like nosing around anyway, feel free.
Okay everyone! We have moved to the Eastern Shore of Virginia and we are surviving quite nicely.
The kids are adjusting and other than having to wait for 10 days to get a phone line, everything is running very smoothly. (Heck with the phone....I need my internet connection!) The kids could care less, we got cable the first day in the house! Go figure!
The kids are set to start school on September 8th and they are almost ready. Coming from a county that started school almost 2 weeks earlier has helped get them in the mood to get started. The homeschooling curriculum has arrived and it looks pretty challenging. I'll let everyone know how it works...we are both a little scared. Her friends keep telling her what a mean teacher she is going to have this year....you all know who you are!
As soon as we can get our hand on a scanner we will have progressive pictures on this page, but until then, you guys will just have to take our word for the fact that progress is being made!!!
I'll be updating this page as time warrants, until then, my new e-mail address can be found below. As far as I know, ICQ will go unchanged and any one who needs our new phone # will get it soon!
For those of you who have the need to send me something via snail mail...you should have our phone number by now, just call us and ask for it!
As for those of you who need a little history, We moved from a small town in carroll county, maryland to an even smaller town on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. We owned a small split foyer on an acre of land and moved our three girls into a huge victorian house over 100 years old. big change! The house was reasonably priced because it needs updating and a few cosmetic changes...nothing that my husband and a few good friends (who would like nothing other than a free vacation on the shore!!! Hint! Hint!), can't handle! like i said before....a scanner is in our very near future and when we get it, you will be bombarded by picture after picture of our never ending work in progress! if anyone out there has any tips or tricks, please use the above address to clue us in...we need all of the help we can get.
