Wild Plum Muffins

2 cups self-rising flour
2 cups sugar
1 cup crushed walnuts
2 tsp allspice
3 eggs
1 cup oil
2 sm jars plum baby food
Stir together dry ingredients. Add eggs, oil & baby food. Stir just until mixed. Spray mini muffin pans with Pam. Fill pans with batter, bake at 350° for 10 minutes. Makes 8-10 doz. mini muffins.


Sylvia's Banana Bread

3/4 cup butter
1 1/2 cup sugar
4 eggs
3 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp soda
4 bananas
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
Cream butter & sugar. Beat in eggs one at a time. Sift flour, salt & soda together. Mash bananas & add to mix. Add flour mixture. Add vanilla. Bake at 350° for 60-70 minutes in loaf pan or 45 minutes in 8" round cake pan. NOTE: Makes 2 8" round cakes.


Garlic Cheese Bisquits

2 cups Bisquick Baking Mix
2/3 cup milk
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup margarine or butter, melted
1/4 tsp garlic powder
Heat oven to 450°. Mix baking mix, milk and cheese until soft dough forms; beat vigorously 30 seconds. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Mix butter and garlic powder; brush over warm bisquits before removing from cookie sheet. Serve warm. Makes 10-12 bisquits.
