CONGRATULATIONS

Congratulations to Anchorage Quotarian Ella Craig, a receipient of the 2002 First Lady's Volunteer Award.
Ms Craig, a Quotarian since 1957, is the founder of the Alaska Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers and first chairwoman for the state's Pioneer Homes. She serves on the Alaska Commission of Aging; help start the Senior Advocacy Coalition and facilitates a support group for widowed persons at the Anchorage Senior Center.

In Memoriam

Anchorage Quotarian Judy Swanson died on April 27, 2002 in Anchorage. A 9-year member, she was a beacon of wisdom and humor for her friends and family and will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Judy could always be counted on to pitch-in whenever there was a club activity. She held many club offices and chaired several Yard Sales for the club. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to
