Welcome to our Home Page!Pet ducks and ... other animalsWelcome to our Home Page!

Hi! Welcome to our Home Page! We, our pet ducks, and our cat are happy to receive your visit !!!

This page was created in March '98, like an experiment, just to "be there", and be able to say "hello world" with the then relatively new "media" of the www, hoping that someone would find it interesting enough to visit it. The text is in English in order to reach the maximum possible audience, but the author is italian mother-tongue! Sorry for grammar and syntax errors!  In the last years, this web page has received a certain amount of visits, due to the information given about our experience with pet ducks: if you are looking for that, just click to the PET DUCK FAQ or to the DUCK PHOTO ALBUM.  Some more time to read? then have a look at our "pet duck history" page.

We live near Bologna, a medium-sized town placed in the North of Italy, near the border of the Padania plain formed by the longest Italian river, the Po, under the first hills of the Appennini mountains. Bologna has the oldest University in Europe, and is a very nice destination when travelling in Italy between, say, Venice and Florence: it is renowned for its culture, monuments of art, and, last but not least, for its unforgettable cuisine (tortellini, lasagne,...).

If you have time, you could have a look at our Site Map: it contains an ordered overview of all the pages of our site.   The page is also somehow a repository of hobbies, interests, essays, projects, links that the author would like to share with ... the world!

The Guestbook is temporarily closed, due to a continuous spam filling of the free fields. If you want to see what I mean, have a look at the last entries. (July 2006). Such "very interesting" stuff was being pushed (probably automatically) every few days. After a few attempts at deleting the "spam" guestbook entries, I had to give it up (I have neither the time nor the will to fight against this!). So, thanks to the kind people that signed, and let us hope that Geocities will find a solution to prevent such Guestbook usage. Here is the Guestbook Archive (since March 1998) and the Last active Guestbook
